I vote wear what you like better.
Did you buy the sub in 2018 with the intention of selling in 2022? If not, keep wearing it, and enjoy!

I def understand what your saying. No I didn’t have the intention to sell but I also didn’t have the intention to lose what i did during this pandemic and not be able to have both…unfortunately it’s one or the other and I wanna know the better money move. I like both watches.

Be honest to the AD and let someone else enjoy the Air King. Timing isn't always right, as life happens. Move on.

If you tell the AD the truth he can see you are a real man (i hope) and he will call you again. That’s how you get the watch you really want..

Your post history seems to indicate you’re very torn about owning the Sub C at all. If the Air King strikes you as maybe a better fit, go for that. If not, hold off for something else.

This is just an internet forum, why care what watch we like? Quiet your thoughts for a while, figure out what you really prefer, and ignore what everyone else says.

Find a friend who has money, sold the AK and shared the profit. And keep your sub …

I’m not really one to talk as Ive only lurked here for a couple years but TRF is not a place to ask for investment advice on which watch to flip for $$. Your decision to pick up an AK for the sole intention of profit making and asking forum members which watch will return the most $$ will not go over very well (as you can see)... this forum is for watch lovers, who buy Rolex because they love the brand and love the watches and not flippers…

No offence intended but another forum may be a better choice for this type of question, perhaps Reddit

I think some posts are trying to guide you to TRF rules:

iv) THIS IS A ROLEX WATCH DISCUSSION FORUM AND NOT A PRICE OR INVESTMENT OR DISCOUNT DISCUSSION FORUM SO IF YOU HAVE A QUERY REGARDING PRICES, INVESTMENTS OR DISCOUNTS THEN MAKE YOUR OWN PERSONAL ENQUIRIES AND INVESTIGATIONS AND DO NOT POST THOSE ISSUES HERE.

I buy my watches to wear I would only sell to get one I wanted more or to put bread on the table - I am not wanting to be a watch trader - any appreciation in a watches value is only realised if you sell - As a watch to wear, and I have both ,I would keep the sub and explain the situation to your AD - probably a better long term play in any case - if you are purely looking at shorter term economics you would buy the Airking at retail and sell - I doubt the likely gains are that high but you would make a return ( as you would on any Rolex at the moment)- good luck in whatever you decide.

Have to agree Eddies one time Rolex watches were bought to wear and enjoy, now many think them of as nothing more than investment £££$$$€€€ objects.

If you have all the experience you claim to have you would find more accurate answers on sales outlets on the web.
Your SubDate is 2018 and I have no idea of the condition?
Do I factor in a full service?

You are asking for ‘need it fast’ pricing information without giving any details?

I would rather see pix of your watches.

the forum moderator puts out a list of abbreviations for people to know and understand that are spoken in these forums and ugh o , that bad word “flip” was put up by the moderator. hurry and start yelling at him.

speaking about service. I just told my AD I wanted to send my sub in for a service ( no polish) bc something doesn’t feel right w the pin. happened out of nowhere. he replied by telling me the only thing under warranty is the movement & manufacture defects and that they’ll call the pin “ wear n test” and it won’t be under any warranty. Can anyone acknowledge if that’s right or wrong what I was told. ??
