My dads watch…
My dad popped over today and out the blue ‘passed on’ his watch. A watch that wouldn’t be special to most people, but it is the watch i have always known him to wear. When he bought it in 1983 whilst we were on a family holiday in Malta, I remember him getting an almighty telling off from my mother because we were not in a position to be spending that much money on a watch.
So for me it a watch with memories, and a watch that i grew up desperately wanting! My local Rolex AD stocks Tissot so i will be sending this in for a long overdue service. It might not get much wrist time on the future, but the time it gets will be special. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What's there to service? Simply replace the battery yourself.

Very nice. I believe that they have a similar looking one in their current lineup.

Congratulations Vince. That’s a great story and a big part of why I’m a one watch guy. I hope when that day comes my son is as happy as this made you. I enjoy the fact that in watching collecting an heirloom watch with sentimental value can hold its own in a collection as amazing as yours. Enjoy.
