Full everose CHNR vs Everose YM40.....
Curious to hear people's thoughts on this one. I think the majority would likely choose the CHNR on full oyster bracelet. I do like how the serrated edges in polished rose gold of the YM40 seem to contrast and maybe sparkle a little more being set against the black strap. Where as the CHNR kinda all blends together. I know the ceramic bezel on the CHNR probably get's the win on this one. The YM40 might seem a little dull and flat with the matte bezel and black face. I know both are amazing in their own right. I have seen both and tried on both in person, just curious to hear others thoughts. I would love to see the everose YM40 in the 42mm size.

I have a rose YM 40 I bought in 2017. It's a fantastic watch. Pretty stealthy, despite being gold, because of the matt black dial and bezel insert. That's what really makes it work with the rubber strap and what appealed to me.
I have on my list a full rose gold GMT on bracelet, and am hoping to add it to my collection this year. Worlds apart, imo. The antithesis of the YM 40 stealth. Here's my YM 40 |

The YM40 RG is one of my favorites. I was offered the WG42 but declined hoping to get the 40.

As owner of both….Just isn’t a fair comparison. The RG CHNR blows the YM away.

The ym40 in rg is very wearable and low key. I agree it’s bland kinda and that’s how I felt about it in pictures and the first few times I saw it. However, I purchased it (lol) and it came to life. I enjoy it immensely. I’d have very ltd occasions to rock the chnr w/o feeling self conscious. I wear the ym tons. And yes, I’ve owned the full rg gmt and it’s long gone.

The CHNR is more of a watch but I really like the YM more.

If I had my choice for a full RG oyster bracelet, I would probably choose a Daytona. Not sure if I would want the CHNR as well on top of that. Tough call

YM is nice but a full gold Rolex is in an entirely different league. Prices are starting to sky on the CHNR, though. I look at Ebay just as a quick reference from time to time and I didn't see any less than $60k a few days ago (just checked again and there is one for 59,900 and the rest in the mid 60s...which is higher than they were a week ago). Luckily I bought mine for $32k about a month or two after COVID came.
That being said, the Ym has gone up a ton, too. If my CHNR ever hits $100k, I will probably sell it. I don't need a gold Rolex that bad. |

Both are amazing watches. IMO, unless you live a certain lifestyle the CHNR is not an everyday watch. On the contrary, the YM40 could be an everyday watch due to its stealthiness.

It all depends on the niche within your collection you're looking to fill.
In other words, there is no versus, rather, just what works best for you. |

What Ken said. I have a 126715 and while I may add a RG YM at some point I don’t think it’s a fair comparison. Full PM versus OF plus other differences puts the YM at a disadvantage IMO But both lovely in their own right
