Ridiculous redundant threads

Enough already about prices and availability.
It is happening all over in different businesses
I’m in the food business and prices on many products have doubled or tripled
Availability is also difficult. Shortages everywhere
The watch market is a microcosm of the general economy
Inflation and shortages across all sectors
If you wish for prices to crash, and if it happens , we’ll have a lot more to worry about than a Rolex

So you've started a thread to whine about all the threads people start about whining?

Seems like a good use of your free time...

I believe more folks would be chatting about the history of the brand if they could actually own one.

Sign of the times. I do not get mad about it. More folks want into the Rolex ownership experience than what is possible. $0.02.

I start new Rolex topics regularly and they usually don’t get much traction and get buried in investment threads. Half the folks on the forum are new and only here to either learn about flipping or are a grey dealer themself pumping to dump

Old folks hang out in vintage section

Not a lot of younger folks like me who are watch enthusiasts first and foremost and just like talking watches

I’m also a car and computer enthusiast and follow new releases in those spheres as well. I like seeing what’s new and innovative and what brands are bringing to the market

I just don’t have enough money or headspace to be active on more than 1 watch brand forum. My only watch is a Rolex and my next 2-3 watches will probably be Rolex also. But I’m planning on getting a breguet, omega, grand Seiko and maybe something else eventually. It just takes me years to save up for a watch so right now I’m still in my Rolex save and collect phase

Winner of the "mjb post of the day" award.

Although, to be fair, the day is only half over.

Afraid the history of the Rolex and the Tudor brand is no longer of any interest to most members today. As most are only in investment this or that,as Rolex watches today have become little more than £$€ objects and nothing more.

Its a Rolex forum. What else is everyone going to discuss ?

Search this forum for " Rolex Discount " and read the endless amounts of thread's with people figuring out ways to get 20%+ off MSRP at AD's. Most new Rolex buyers who are drastically over paying at grey's will have heard attacks. LOL
