So pleased I went with a 36mm

I tried a 36mm myself the other day, and was really hoping it would work for me, sadly I could not pull it off.
Looks to be a great fit for you however, congrats!

Congrats! I've heard from my AD that they are receiving very few of these in, at least in 2021. Let's hope 2022 changes that.

Thanks for all the comments, I’m over the moon… the perfect every day watch IMO.

I need some advice on adjustment of the strap, all links are in now (I have a tiny screw driver - was very enjoyable putting the extra one in) do I need a tool of some sort to change the position in the clasp with the spring loaded pins?

Looks good! Did you consider any other watches?

I would love this reference for everyday duties!

Yeah, I looked at a Datejust and an Oyster Perpetual as well. Felt they were a bit dressy for me and the other sports watches were too big IMO. Thought about a GMT but I’ve had one before… Once I tried on the Explorer I was hooked!

Congratulations! It looks great on your wrist. I’ve always liked the look of the Explorer. As you said, it’s perfect for an every-day watch.

I recently got the same watch, also enjoying it very much. My wrist is smaller at 6.25". The bracelet makes it the most comfortable Rolex I've had.

I think with your wrist size you could equally find comfort and aesthetics in the 40mm sport models.
