Watch you were wearing when you picked your first Rolex from AD?
This is a conversation starter!

Apple Watch Series 4. But that's the beauty of Japan, I didn't feel the SAs judged me at all. I think this varies from location to location.

Well, I don't remember the watch, but it was most assuredly an inexpensive, quartz watch of which I had many and still do.
As for attire, I was wearing a t-shirt and jeans as usual. The watch was a 114270. I paid cash.

14060 on a NATO. The bracelet is now so stretched it needs to go for a holiday to visit
Michael young, or be replaced by RSC. The sales assistant had commenced employment a short while ago, it was interesting to see the reaction to the older reference. |

Love this question. I feel like it’s such a cat and mouse game between the purchaser and the AD. As a first time buyer I went back-and-forth between my IWC and my Apple Watch as I tried to build a relationship.
Since my first purchase this year (Datejust Wimbledon) I have definitely noticed difference on how they treat me when I walk into a new Watch store. Just my personal experience. |

I was wearing a black ND sub as I purchased a YM 2. I was on my way to Vancouver (from the UK) and wore the new watch on the flight so I could get used to the size (it's big!).

No idea; I do know what the first watch I got from and AD was however. I've no longer got it either.

Makes no difference to the AD whatsoever. They couldn't care less, unless it was bought from them.
