Where to get 216570 clasp?

Hey everyone since I got my 216570 I’d like to get one of the white rubber straps. I like the bracelet but I also like option. I don’t want to keep switching the claps rather just sway the bracelet to the band and back. We’re the best place to get a Rolex clasp? If I remember reading correctly the AD won’t sell you one with out one to give back or something like that. I’m new to the Rolex game and there much different then dealing with omega or Tudor.

Really I was afraid of that. What if I “lose” my clasp in a bad “fall”

I've often wondered this too. What if you sent the watch to Rolex RSC (skip the AD) on a Nato.

They'll include the replacement bracelet on the estimate. Or so in my imagination that's how it works. I don't know about just the clasp though. Maybe source a cheap aftermarket clasp and send it in? They'll replace with Rolex OEM and charge you.

I don't know if this would actually work, but I've mulled it over in my imagination a few times.

I believe this is how it works also. If you take in the watch on a rubber strap or Nato and tell them you 'lost' the bracelet, RSC will quote you the price of the bracelet and if they have it in stock might let you purchase it and install it for you.

If not in stock, they will order it for you but you have to leave the watch there.

I don't think there is a way just to get a clasp as I tried for my Daytona and was told I would need to return the damaged clasp and they will replace it on a swap basis (and charge of course) but they won't just outright sell a clasp to me.

Even if you could get one from Rolex clasp alone is over $1000 a expensive option for a rubber strap.

A complete misplaced bracelet may be a more convincing story.

I might just do that and see we’re it goes. It’s a 2018 and I would mind a full service minus any polishing. Idk what the previous owner did with it so I’d like to know everything is still up to Rolex par. And if I could get a replacement bracelet and clasp that would work. That’s a good idea. I’ll have see.

I have but being a machinist I appreciate the precision that goes into a Rolex clasp and find the 100 dollar ones just well 100 worth. If it come down to it I will.

Totally agree. I'm not a machinist, but I appreciate the precision.

I've tried a few of the Fortsner remakes and others that are highly rated. But the clasp just seems too flimsy.

I'd love to find a good bracelet for the Ranger, but there simply aren't any aftermarket with the heft and fit/finish of the manufacturer bracelets.

That seems to be the going rate across the board. Maybe I’ll take to my boss and drink in some 904l and make my own. Hum might be a good side venture.
