26mm Date vs. 31mm OP
Newbie here! Would love some help deciding!
Found a gorgeous 26mm black dial Date (far right) but also am loving the 31mm OPs (first, second, and third watches) with either a black or white dials. All but the white face are in excellent condition. The white face is in very good condition. Which would be a good entry to the Rolex family? I don't plan on collecting and would like to wear it daily. I have a 5.75" wrist and am female. The Jubilee bands are classic but don't know if I should go for a bigger size. It seems like women are wearing the larger sizes these days. Pic here |

Welcome to your first Rolex! The key to a daily wear watch is comfort. Most folks say the Jubilee band is bit more dressy and seems to suit smaller watches better. No matter what anyone says Rolexes tend to wear a bit larger than typical fashion watches due to robust construction. All that being said it's then up to personal taste. Yes some women wear larger watches as fashion accessories but that's different than an everyday watch. Ideally you can visit a Rolex retailer and check out the sizes you are interested in. While stocks are super low these days the smaller women's watches are sometimes in stock to try on.

Welcome to the forum! I'm in the process of picking up a 31mm Date for my wife. She has small wrists. She tried on both the 26mm and 31mm and the 31mm was perfect for her.
You should go and try some of watches to see what looks good for you.Good luck! |

My wife has a Rolex 26mm date as well as an Omega 34mm Seamaster. Similar wrist size to you. Honestly she loves both and tends to wear the Rolex as a dressier piece and the Omega as a more casual/vacation piece. The Rolex jubilee bracelet stays on all the time. I swap the Omega between bracelet and leather straps for her, depending on her outfit and mood. I don't think you can go wrong either way, as long as it's comfortable and you love putting it on every day.

My wife has the 31mm, white dial, Roman numerals, all SS with WHT gold bezel and jubilee.
She is of small stature, but still found the 26mm too dainty. Women are wearing larger watches presently, so the 31 bridges the gap between the diminutive female watches of yesteryear and the larger 36mm (or even 40s) worn by women these days.
