Daytona 6263 "Big Red"
Today, I received one of my 'grail' pieces.......
A vintage 1978 "Big Red" Daytona with black dial and white subdials (which have over 30 years turned light cream color). Overall, the watch is 90-95% condition with only a few scuffs on one lug. The dial and hands are 95%. The movement looks new. The watch was serviced and polished once by Rolex Canada in 2006. It arrived with the original box and service papers. Please enjoy these photos. |

Congrats man, that is a very special day you get a watch like that.
Is it 36 or 38mm wide excluding crown? A real beauty that is for sure

My better half wears 34 and 36 mm and I was going to give it to her if it was too small for me. But I am keeping this beauty. |

I think these watches do wear a lot larger than 36mm.
I would have no problem wearing that, any day of the week
