YG Rolex DD40 white or silver dial.

If you had the choice between these 2 colors with Romans which would you choose? Sorry can’t do a poll since it’s on my iPhone. I have the white dial but have been thinking of switching it to the silver dial. Watch is YG for reference. Thanks!

I was on the fence with these references and went white. Crisp.

Silver dial. It contrasts well with the romans and makes them pop. The white looks cheap to me on a YG watch. The silver takes on a slight gold hue at times but not as old school looking as champagne. We got this exact configuration for my dad. I’d get the white dial myself but on a WG DD40. it’s Matte and makes the WG romans pop here.

I'm a huge fan of the white dial on the YG DD 40

Both white and silver are great for the yg model; i would choose silver as it is more playfully in light and all the silver hues generated by the sunburst pattern makes it more dynamic.

White looks cleaner to me. What a nice pop it really showcases the gold Roman’s and the overal gold of the entire watch

Silver. The sunburst is stunning. It’s like a soft shiny sunburst white. It looked a little more “modern” than Champagne but keeps the classic President look, if that makes sense. It’s what I wear and have no regrets.

The yellow gold with white dial and gold romans is such a classic. That would be my pick

I chose white

It's crisp and easy.on the eyes, especially as you age the silver will be harder to see

Of those two, I’d choose white. However, I’d venture outside those two to the new green dial.

White enhances the YG. Silver knocks it down a bit. Silver for me.

I had a 36mm YG DD white roman dial in the 80s. It was destroyed in a motorcycle wreck I had in 86. I truly miss that watch and would buy it again with the white roman dial. Very classy look imo
