My first bought/sold/re-bought Incoming
The first Tudor I ever owned was the 79220b Blue "smiley rose" 41mm heritage black bay with the ETA movement. Sold it a few years ago when I bought my Tudor GMT because I found it redundant to have both.
I have missed that watch ever since. It was so perfect for my wrist. Missed the three hand simplicity, the thinner case, the bracelet w/o faux rivets, larger hands and markers, blazing lume, no date, and just how well it fit my 7.5" wrist. Well here we are a few years later. I no longer own the Tudor GMT and have really missed having a Tudor in my collection. Started looking for a pre-owned BB ETA but didn't want to get blue again if possible. I have several blue and black watches and wanted something that stands on its own a little better. Found the same watch with the red bezel and gilt dial from a TRF trusted seller and could not be happier. Really enjoying having it back on my wrist. Just a perfect go anywhere, do anything watch that doesn't need to be babied. You never forget your first. I present the new-to-me 2013 Tudor Black Bay Heritage ETA 79220r. Great watch! I have the Blue version as you did. As soon as I saw it back in 2013/14, I liked it. I agree on the bracelet preference w/o the faux rivets. Really dislike them for some reason. I know if I let it go, I'd regret it. Keep this one.

Congrats Mike! Tough to find red in the Rolex catalog. I've always liked that bezel from Tudor.

Good find, Mike. Looks great. I really like this model. It was my first-ever Tudor as well. I found one from a New Zealand-based TRF member in 2012. At the time, Tudor hadn't started selling in the US yet, so I thought it was cool to have one. It's a handsome watch for sure; the burgundy bezel is so unique. Keeps great time, too. Enjoy your 'new' Black Bay thoroughly!

I have had my eye on that very same watch for a while, the red really makes it a beauty. Enjoy!
