Spotify and Onkyo receiver

Last week my onkyo NR676 stopped streaming Spotify. All other inputs work flawlessly.
It is exceedingly frustrating as I use this receiver for my outdoor speakers and we spend a large amount of time in the backyard. I’ve reset everything imaginable in the system (modem, router, deleted apps reinstalled them etc)
Still nothing.
There are a couple threads online that don’t seem to have a solid fix.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas??

I purchased the receiver about 5 yrs ago. Everything else on it works without issue.
Thanks for any and all ideas

Since Onkyo went into bankruptcy very recently, maybe that's part of the problem?

Thank you, Steven, for the input.
Unfortunately, I think you are correct.
I’m thinking it has to be some sort of licensing issue as I have a Denon receiver
that I use for another part of the house and it streams Spotify without issue.

Guess I’m in the market for another receiver!

Not to insult your intelligence, but have you done the firmware update on the Onkyo followed by a hard reset and then reinstalled the app on your tablet device?

Only reason I asked was because I have an Anthem that similarly disappeared from my Spotify list and this was the solution after doing everything you previously mentioned.

Oh, and set up the Onkyo with a static IP if you don't presently have it.

I had a problematic Onkyo receiver a few years back. I took it to a local repair shop and they fixed for less than $100. Never was a fan of the Onkyo once I had one. I went with Yamaha next time around and it’s been solid. Trying fixing it first It you like it.

Are you sending the music to the outdoor speakers via a Zone type channel?
When spring began again this year, I turned on my Zone 2 on my Yamaha but had no music on my deck. I couldn’t figure it out, it was maddening. Finally I went into setup and realized at some point this winter I set up my receiver as seven channel and no Zone. As soon as I reset it to main plus Zone, viola, music on the deck..

Zone 2 is operational as I can play FM and AM tuner without issues.
