Dark/Black stain under bracelet following a day at the beach.
Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve noticed it happen a few times while wearing my 114060 at the beach.
Is this essentially just a mix of dirt and suntan lotion? Or is something else going on? |

Salt in the water, air and perspiration is corrosive. It's probably just some of the steel rubbing of on your skin.

This is not harmful and is just dirt/microscopic metal from the bracelet sweating onto your skin.
Give that watch a good soapy bath, that's all. It happens. Sent from my KB2005 using Tapatalk |

The oil filter seals are probably leaking.

Cleaning the bracelet with liquid soap and a very soft toothbrush from time to time and the problem will disappear...

I’m not a medical doctor, but just wondering if it’s a bruise or not. I’ve seen that before on either this watch forum or maybe it was another watch forum. People have posted pictures showing bruising after wearing a watch too tight.
Either way, it’s definitely a good idea to thoroughly clean your watch using a soft tooth brush, Dawn dish soap and water. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
