Rolex at costco.com

Rolex is back in stock! (ha ha) Not in store but online there are a handful. Every time I shop there I glance at the jewelry display hoping they'll have a surplus GMT (...and then I wake up and narrowly avoid crashing into someone who is going against the usual flow of traffic.)

However I can't imagine these pieces are top sellers even today. The little diamonds on the bezel have always looked a little odd IMO... but who knows

FWIW these are in line with MSRP, the one on the left for example lists for $15.2k

Interesting I haven’t seen any Rolex at Costco.com for almost 2 years!

Omega also! I remember randomly seeing a men's gold Datejust at Costco years ago, and thinking it was so odd that they had it in store. Interesting to see that they are back in the game! I too always check, sometimes they have some cool Casios and other fun watches.

Probably a solid market indicator, tbh. They had pretty "normal" men's 36mm DJs (more TT, but also SS) as recently as late 2020/early 2021. I know, I bought one.

They've also carried sports models at times, although I think it's been stuff like TT SDs.

They regularly carry more Omega models, including sports stuff. Way back in the day they carried the James Bond Seamaster and Moonwatch Speedy regularly. A couple of years ago I'd spot stuff like Aqua Terras and Planet Oceans in store.

I just picked up a last gen Speedy 57 from Costco very recently.

Good to know someone who’s bought a Rolex from Costco! In your opinion you’ve felt comfortable buying? Guessing you don’t get box and/or papers?

This picture was taken in October 2016. Good times. I already owned the 116520 back then so I didn't buy this one.

Unreal!

I've only ever seen blinged out ladies' models in the cabinet.

Pre-2020, I have seen many more omega models for sale at Costco than Rolex. All Omega and Rolex comes with boxes, however there is no warranty card. But, you can’t beat Costco’s return policy/warranty anyways.

I have no concerns buying Omega and Rolex from Costco. As a matter of fact I did buy an Omega Speedmaster either in 2018 or 2019 from Costco.

I also thought back then: More than MSRP ($12k)? That's nuts! Little did I know haha

Not exactly. They are sold by third parties through the WalMart platform. Just like Ebay and Amazon.

True - they're just using WM as their portal.

Costco really does sell Rolex, even the warranty is through them. Discussed here many times. Never saw anything I really wanted, but of course anyone who happened to buy now looks like a Savant

No, Costco is not an AD. That's why the description includes the comment that Costco's warranty applies even though the item may still be within the manufacturer's warranty period because Costco is not an authorized seller.

Actually the one on the left goes for $15,500 from Rolex and the other chocolate dial retails for $15,900 so $500 to $900 off...as far as the Mother of Pearl dial, that one is slightly over MSRP by $650 (retails for $16,350 from Rolex)

There was a Costco in Las Vegas that used to display and sell Rolexes but they had a robbery so they quickly stopped displaying them in store lol

So, do you need to have relationship with the guys in the tire department? Or a spend history with the bakery? I would assume so, in order to have any chance at all.
