FS: 1966 Rolex Daytona 6240 Silver Dial with Tropical Sub Dials
Serial #: 1269XXX Description: Case: The previously polished case is excellent showing only light wear from use. The black plastic bezel insert is also in excellent condition and shows only light wear from use. There is one small crack in the insert right at the 200 index marker. The watch comes with the correct and rare mark 0 pushers. Dial: The silver dial with tropical brown sundials is excellent showing some light wear from age. There is some very subtle spotting present just to the left of the coronet. Most of the lume plots are missing some or all of their luminous mass which is common for Daytonas of this era. The remaining lume has aged to a dark sage hue. The hands have aged lighter and appear as a clean creamy hue. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate.
