AD question

Is it normal that your AD don’t respond to you? I reached out two different AD that I deal with the pass and both of them are not responding.
Thanks

It can happen. Rolex ADs have to answer ALL the Social media inquires ON TOP of all the emails. It’s exhausting! So ya, it’s no different than most any other business that has high maintenance customers. Frankly, the guys from the forums can be THE MOST demanding customers. Cut them some slack and contact them again.

I am just eager when I see everyone got a call from their AD.

I am just too eager. I missed out on a 41 Wimbledon last time, I got caught up with a call and forgot to reply the AD.

All the time. I also forget to call people back sometimes. I call again.

The more you spend over time, the quicker the response from the AD.

It would depend. People get busy or forget. It happens. If you feel like they are being dismissive or snooty, then I would take my business elsewhere. YMMV

My AD always replies whatsapp, although the replies could be delayed as he is busy at work. No problem at all.

Why not stop in and have a chat? Ask what the best form of communication during the conversation at some point.

Unless you’re chatting em up about interest on a unhyped brand and model, then the response kicks back pronto….

My AD actually reaches out to me. Things are slow and lists are long. Rolex is still back filling orders. I'd only reach out once a month if necessary.

Is it normal. No.

As someone else said, at this point in time you are not needed.

Quite possibly the worst AD out there....its a shame that they are probably the largest or second largest in the US as well now.

Totally normal. Been getting that with all the SAs that I work with.

You can always just text them asking when they'll be working so you can pop by to chat as I'm sure that will prompt back a response.

LOL.

For sure, plenty of them don't text me back. Basically, we're nobody.

I’m so surprised that the two AD’s you called weren’t sitting around with their feet kicked up on their desk just waiting for your ( and probably 50 other people) call to ask for an update on their grail watch that they believe they are next on the waiting list to receive.

It’s normal. They have too many clients to satisfy. You’re spend doesn’t warrant attention at the moment. Happens to me. Having said that don’t take it personal and always go face to face when you can

Mine always get back to me. It’s just good customer service. I wouldn’t do business with someone that made me feel like I was a bother.

It's not you, it's THEM, the ADs, at the moment.
I don't have an AD in the first place because none have any Rolexes to sell to ME. None will let me make an order. None will put me on a waitlist because according to them, "There is no wait list. HA HA HA ." (laugh in my face). So, I go in and smile and look interested and survey what's in the cases and say hello and a few words and go out. Luckily the grays here have been good to me.

Dow is down another 1000 points. Another couple months they will be calling you to take stock off their hands.

ADs are probably still in a position where their primary goal isn't necessarily selling just the watch and their behavior likely still reflects this where they are prioritizing specific opportunities. It seems possible this could change in the near future.
