Picked up an old explorer 14270
Picked up this 1991 N serial explorer today.

I love seeing all the newer posts about the 14270/114270 and more. I feel there’s so much history and character in the neo-vintage world.
When you wear a watch like the explorer you just put it on and sometimes forget it’s there whilst “exploring”. Even if sometimes are explorations are in office environments |

Thank you all for the comments. There is something very enjoyable about the 5 series Rolex watches which is missing in the new 6 series.

Looks great! All you’ll ever need in a watch.
I’ve owned both the 5 and current iteration Explorer, and while I enjoy the new one, there’s something more charming about the 5 digit iteration. I also like that the 3-6-9 is not as bold in the 1 and 11 series. |
