Rolex on a Redneck…

Dunno if there’s any country music fans here on our forum or not but went to Brantley Gilbert tonight. Awesome show and hard not to love his new song! Looked like he was wearing a black dial DSSD tonight or possibly an SD43; too thick to be a sub and a 12 series for sure the way it the ceramic bezel was shining…looked great and a great show! Anyways just thought I’d share.

Yes. There are county fans here my friend. Between you and I, I suspect Blansky, Seth, Paul and Chewie are all closet Nashville fans. I also think that Jesse has a whole bunch of photos of country concert trips he has yet to post.

Personally, seeing Willie a few years ago with four generations of my wife's farming family was pretty awesome.

Great pic on your sub. Glad you enjoyed the concert.

It's a James Cameron DSSD and a beautiful watch! I must admit I don't see any green on the bezel but on the dial there is. Having lived in Tucson AZ for 10 years I can well appreciate wearing cowboy hats. I suspect the skin cancer I caught there would have been worse had I not worn one.

My ailing eyes. I am color blind, but now I have CSS.

No excuses though, a green sub would have been appropriate.

Nice. I’m originally from Europe and have been in the Northeast for the last 25 years. Grew up a metal head and love all sorts of music. I’ve taken a deeper dive into country music over the last several years and love it. As a guitar player I have a ton of respect for what many of those people do. Been playing in a country cover band for a few years now and I’m still learning new tricks because of it. (And have been wearing my Sea Dweller on stage on a regular basis).

Rolex on a Redneck…

I listen to everything from Alice In Chains and Black Sabbath to Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra, Taylor Swift and Dwight Yoakam. Lots of country music on my playlists.

I am a music schizophrenic myself. All kinds of stuff. Metallica to Taylor Swift to Snoop. Love good music no matter what genre.

Don’t really care for country music. However it’s very cool that he wears a Rolex and it looks like you had a nice time!

In aggregate, yes. I love Rolex and my wife loves country.

She has dragged me to Country 500 at Daytona few years, along with a few shows at Grand Ole Opry . Sadly, no wrist shots!

Brett Eldredge def rocking a Sub though. Caught it on big screen

Nice shots! I’ve been to a couple country shows and noticed they seem to like their Rolexes.
Luke combs wears a sub and we saw Michael ray at the Grand Ole Opry rocking a sub as well!

I love the looks of the Z06’s, but being a big guy I don’t fit in them as comfortably as I do my mustang. The new C8’s are awesome too but they are even tighter. My mustang has a Roush blower and some other go-fast goodies so with 652 at the tires (currently) I keep up just fine lol. Very impressed with Chevy’s engineering though!

I like a lot of different music but not really a country fan. (I did grow up just outside Calgary.)

Of course Chris Stapleton is pretty special. But a lot of good stuff coming out of Nashville these days.

Of course a lot of these guys are "all hat and no cattle" but still.

While documentary surfing one night there were a couple of good docs on songwriters that were working in Nashville producing country and a lot of crossover.

Enjoy.
