AR on modern Day-Date crystals?
Hi,
a member here reported that he bought a 114270 with a genuine Rolex AR crystal installed (probably one from the 124270). That got me wondering: do new 12823x crystals fit the older 11823x Day-Dates? Does anyone know the parts number for the 11823x crystal and the 12823x? I actually prefer the dial layout of the older versions, but having AR on the crystal would be a huge plus. I don't really need the new movement and the huge savings on the older model wouldn't hurt either. I was thinking of looking for a great 118239 and just having the crystal replaced. Do you think this is feasible? Do 12823x even come with AR? New Datejusts do, does that crystal fit? |
