No way I'd wear one of my all gold pieces in Central London and especially on public transport!

Each to their own but I can understand it’s different for each person .
It was daytime … might have been different if it was night time

I've seen some watches in London where I've considered mugging the wearer!

I'll never again wear a watch into London and advise my visiting friends to do the same. London is dangerous, regardless of where and I don't see that changing any time soon.

With respect to the OP - you are bonkers :)

Good for the OP. As for being smart, I'm sure smart people get mugged too:)

Lol It’s all fun and games until a gang member marks you on the tube, and once you on the street you get jumped by 3-4 people who don’t give a fucc about it being daytime. Watch is gone within 10 seconds and you’re left to lick your wounds. I’m sorry, but unless you’re a top boy/UFC heavyweight champion with a security teams, or got at least a few mates constantly surrounding you, this is dead silly imo. Everyone tells themselves “this won’t happen to me” until it does #facts.

Hope you stay safe brother.

Very true but you can still be a top boy or ufc fighter and it can still happen and even with mates around you .

Always stay safe been around the good and bad parts of London for over 30 years so maybe it does help I know the wrong and right people lol but I would say it doesn’t matter who you are anymore the problem is if they do it to the wrong person and they find out which is possible than it’s not good news for the muggers aswell that’s part they need to know because some people would wear what they want and not care .

But this is why we have these forums to debate and have our own individuality’s

Haha yes of course it can. But under those circumstances I would feel it at least minimizes the chances of it happening.
As long as you’re vigilant and take into consideration recent LDN street crime related to watches… then I guess it’s YOLO

I’d be cautious if I were you, wherever you are in the world. You can think you’re being smart but if someone is determined to get something off you, there’s not a lot you can do about it except risk being seriously hurt. Especially if there’s a group of them. Sadly not everyone values someone’s life.

I'm so confused but this. You posted a thread about how you are worried about getting robbed years ago. The environment was friendly then. Now people are getting robbed at gunpoint in restaurants on the streets of Beverly Hills. Do you understand it takes Beverly Hills police SECONDS to respond to something. Forget anywhere else in the world. So if sh** is hitting the fan there and everywhere else.....now you are ok with risking getting robbed/killed? In other parts of the world they just kill you for your watch, forget about giving you a chance to give it to them without fighting. The risk of this happening has exponentially increased since your first post when you were already paranoid.

I am not in Beverley Hills for one ! Two that post was deleted and has been edited -
(Administrators and moderators may also edit your messages. If they do, there may not be a note telling other users that the post was modified.)!!! So it never actually got posted but somehow it’s been found and edited .

I am fully aware people kill people not just for watches but many things in life .

Wasn’t paranoid just stating situations at That time but like I said don’t believe everything you hear or read !

Don’t be confused because I am not
