Warranty Issues Deepsea 126660 JC

Purchased the JC in May 21, it's my everyday wearer and I love it.

Late in 2021 it started gradually losing time, got to about 10 secs per day so took it to RSC, first they regulated it while I waited and within a week is was back to -10. Went back and this time took the watch and completed a movement service, but the process took two months.

Was working great until a couple of weeks ago, and now its about -8 per day so took it back to RSC today, again they have taken the watch and report back to me in a week or so... it is a warranty issue again but I'm starting to lose faith in my watch... don't want to be without it for weeks again

Maybe I have a lemon!

Thoughts and suggestions welcome

I hate to say it, but it sounds very much like the well reported 32xx amplitude/slowing issue you have there. No permanent fix for it yet as far as we know (although, granted, Rolex won't exactly announce it to the world), so their solution at the moment appears to be "service, replace like for like on worn parts, and send it back out with their best hopes and prayers".

Really hope they sort it out for you.

Sorry to hear this...

One reason I prefer older models as this issue seems to be a real pain

Same issue on my 2020 126660 JC. Ended up selling it. Always started to lose considerable time after a month or so of getting out of RSC. It was 30-35 seconds a day.

oh no.........

you have the issue where there is a stupid long thread about it...

I'd sell and replace with a 31xx or go different brand, a few of us have had issues including reoccurring issues...

Although it’s a pain in the azz since you love the watch I’d say keep letting them fix it until they figure it out. They share your motivation to get it running right and eventually they will. The question really is how much patience do you have.

It's the 32xx problem poll thread.
Just scroll through the pages here as it's still quite current

But in the real world as most all Rolex are hard to get now if you believe every thing you read on forum. And they sell around say 600000 watches yearly with the 32 series movements. So now I would expect there are million plus Rolex watches in this world today with the 32 series movement. So wonder why all these other million of 32 series Rolex owners would buy these watches, if like some put on forum they keep appalling time perhaps to just moan about them after.

It is NOT a warranty issue but an issue, known since a few years, of the 3235 caliber of your watch.

Rolex does not acknowledge but conducts a silent repair strategy.

Join the "32xx movement problem poll and data thread" with your experiences and your timekeeping numbers. If you read from the start you will find it is not a stupid thread (as claimed above) but you have to skip the contributions of some guys.

Why didn’t they silent repair this?

Padi I’m now 5 from 8 with issues.

Also you acknowledge that Rolex is no longer a watch but an investment vehicle etc. this is unfortunate but it does mean a lot of these watches are not actually worn.

Are you seriously saying there is no issue with this movement? Op has had rsc handle his watch three times.

Do you own any?

Look I hope they do but you’ve sent it back three times now and there is an issue…

Be wary of people who collect data for the sake of collecting data and still recommend buying this movement. ESP when they’ve said they won’t ever buy again. ESP when they’ve had at 100% issue rate with the movement. ESP when they have had a warranty fix fall ill again.

I am somewhat bemused .......

There are still a few people who seem to "Deny" that the 32xx problem exists.

It clearly does exist, it has been proven well enough.

Rolex and die hard Rolex supporters will never let anything be said against the company or against their quality.

The long 32xx thread is so long because some people who just wont accept the fact of the existance of a problem which Rolex seem to not have fully fixed yet keep posting in the threads but give no factual proven data.

However others do give factual data and can show that the problem still exists.

Maybe Rolex have now found a fix but as it would be a silent fix we wont know for quite some time yet.

I can see both sides of this. There is clearly an issue with a number of these 32** movements. I’ve had a 124060 since Jan 2021 and it’s not missed a beat. Keeps great time around +1 second a day and when I wear it all day long it’s bang on 0 seconds.

My other watch with a 32**, a 2019 126710 BLNR clearly had some kind of timing issue and when I sold it in February this year, was anything between -9 and -14 seconds slow per day. This to me wasn’t acceptable and I’d kind of set my sights on moving the watch on anyway.

There is clearly an issue with SOME of the newer movements and it would appear it’s pot luck as to who’s got a dud one.

Return it to the AD, a luxury Rolex watch shouldn't be that way
