Yacht master II red second hand not resetting to ZERO/12 o’clock position

I recently picked up a 2018 model ref 116688 YM II. This evening I was messing with the watch, and noticed that when I reset the chrono feature the (red) second hand would not return to the perfectly aligned 12 o’clock position. It resets about 1 second to the left of 12 o’clock.

So far the watch seems to be keeping good time. I may be a little OCD, but wasn’t sure if this was something that would warrant a service trip to Rolex. Any feedback from previous owners would be greatly appreciated, as I’m really curious as to how common this is. Thanks!

I'm my opinion you should get that fixed. I have seen that happen in Zenith el primero chronos as well. Not at all OCD.

That’s kinda what I was thinking. I hate the fact I just bought the watch a few days ago, however the misalignment of the second hand is going to drive me nuts. Quick question, I have the warranty card from 2018 (different name), so the watch is still under the 5 year warranty. Will Rolex warrant the watch since I’m not the original owner? Thanks again

They should cover it. I read somewhere that they’re only asking for a photocopy of the card rather than the actual card nowadays.
