How to recognize the material of links?
I have a few Daytona links left, unfortunately I am not sure if they are white gold or platinum. What's the easiest way to tell? Are there differences in construction?

Either WG or Pt links may have inserts present.
If visiting a jeweler is too slow, perhaps weigh them. The heavier ones will be Pt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
