126621 vs 126610LV
I recently picked up a RG OF Daytona 116515LN (currently my only watch as I traded a batman on jubilee and a 2 tone DJ for it), and am in the market for more of a casual everyday sport model. Since I've previously owned a GMT, I figured a sub was my obvious choice, and wanted something with a pop of color. Im drawn to the 126610LV, but my concern is the increased size, as my wrist is only 6.5". I understand the lugs are slimmer as well as the crown guards on this new sub, although the bracelet is larger, and the clasp seems massive. My only concern going with the sub, is it being too large on my wrist. The GMT I felt fit fine, but was really as large as I'd like to go. I stumbled upon the YM 40, and feel it would definitely be a better fit for my wrist given the smaller size and case design, and I feel the 2 tone with RG is a nice look that is casual enough for daily wear. A big part of me wants the sub, but I don't want to feel buyers remorse if it looks ridiculous on my wrist. Anyone with a 6.5" or similar size wrist try a new sub? Any input is greatly appreciated.

I don’t think the sub will feel any larger to you than your GMT did. If anything, it might wear smaller because of the slimmer lugs.
I wear my LV daily! |

The lug to lug is identical between the sub and gmt, it’s the wider bracelet and bigger clasp that concern me. The clasp on the sub is longer and wider than the gmt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and wear a 124060 daily. It wears fantastic on smaller wrist. The caseback is a tad thicker than the GMT but it’s not anything noticeable. Same with the bracelet and clasp. The trick is sizing it right. I took the half link and put it on the 6 o’clock side so I have 3 and a half links over there. It sets the clasp perfectly on the underside. Besides that I really can’t tell any difference and I wore a 114060 daily for a couple years till I upgraded to the 12. They really wear well on smaller wrist and don’t look goofy or too large.

My wrist is 6.4" and the lugs clear both ends of my wrist.

I have a few six and five digits and a 6.5" wrist..They all fit me fine.
The thing for me about the six digits is just for me they are slightly clunkier..I don't wear one around the house if I am working as I tend to just knock them around a bit more. It sounds a ridiculous but I've become calibrated to my Explorer 214270..Most of the other watches i have I find myself more aware of the watch and size. That all being said, when I go out, none of it is an issue..The 6 digits wear a bit more like jewelry to my eye. I don't think it will look ridiculous on your wrist but you might as well try one on to see how you like it.

That doesn’t look bad. Do you happen to have an inner wrist shot showing the clasp? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
