King Seiko 4502-7001 just arrived- HAPPY!!!

Was interested in one of these, but the search became kind of overwhelming for me and I stopped. Ebay knows how to sell, and "you might be interested" came up with this suggestion. It was priced nice, I asked a few questions and got a good feeling from the seller and it arrived today and I am delighted!!!

It looks great to me, and though it has plenty of scratches, they aren't glaring or deep gouges. I have to guess the crystal was changed because it looks so good.

It's running great.

Being an old timer, I love this size, the 36mm. I don't think I can go smaller though.

I'd be interested in your take on these.

I don't plan on showering or swimming with it, but how do they do with water? I guess I would have to have it checked out to make sure the seals are good, but since it seems to be running nice, I think I'll just wear it and enjoy it while the feeling lasts.

Also happy it has a nice strap on it that actually fits my big wrist, a Hadley Roma...

I also feel like I made amends and redeemed myself for selling a few beat up old Datejusts that I loved, and are now like double, triple, quadruple the price...

Congrats, it's a great watch. It was probably water resistant to 5atm when new but I wouldn't risk to swim or bath with it. With that said, with a gasket refresh I would wear it washing my hands.

This is a great watch, congrats! I agree with Fabio there but know you'll still find ways to safely enjoy this piece to the fullest.

Can we have a wrist shot under natural light?

Brilliant watch, though welcome to the slippery slope!

Don’t go near water with it - there’s a reason so many suffer from water damage to the dial!

yes, for right now just being a lil careful. I'm pretty sedentary these days and won't be doing anything to physical or outdoorsy lol

funny but at first I really liked the strap and thought was high end. It is not and it kind of had a little bit of that "someone else's cologne" aroma lol I changed it to something plain and simple, and now the weave band has kind of lost its scent. I may put it back, not sure...

The dial on this one is nice, I have no idea if it may have been re done or not, but I hope to keep it looking nice. I'm careful with my stuff but not fanatical. I mentioned before, I'm an old guy and sedentary, but still, gotta be mindful I guess...

Congrats! It’s a great watch. I have a 5625-7000 which is visually very similar, I absolutely love it. Enjoy!

I found the new one boxy, the crystal sits high, I didn't like the shape of the case, though the sculpting is of course impressive. The crown kind of dug into my wrist. I hate to say it, I know is sounds like blasphemy- the watch was so heralded, but I didn't like it and in fact I never liked it from the moment I got it. Head on, the dial and case are beautiful. And I don't think it's quite as well received as some would like you to believe... I had a hard time selling it and lost a lot of dough on it...
