King of Prussia Watch Tour
Checked out the many fine watch stores at King of Prussia Mall yesterday west of Philadelphia. What an amazing place for watch nerds. Full-on BOUTIQUES for Omega, Breitling, Tag Heuer, IWC, and Panerai not to mention a beautiful Bucherer Rolex/Tudor AD and yes ... a SWATCH store (no Moonswatches in stock naturally) . Thought I'd post a few pictures from my watch day. Great time and lots of good folks to talk to at those stores. I even visited a Mido AD on the way.
By the way, the Omega '57 40.5mm is a total knockout! The bracelet is the most comfortable and smoothest I've ever put on my wrist, from any brand. That watch is gorgeous. Seriously thinking of picking up a green dial. |

Nice!
I’m not a real Tudor fan, but that chrono really looks great.

Nice posted pics.
Was at KOP yesterday.. Saw the Omega sign (looked like my DeepSea) with a nice blue dial. Looked like Louis Vuitton is adding a second shop just across from their original store. |

Great pics that’s for sharing! The BLNR on jubilee is a standout, how did you like it?

I was extremely impressed with the new Submariner. They got it to near perfection with the redesign. The wider bracelet, slightly larger case, slimmed down lugs, nailed it! Sent from my Galaxy S20 using Tapatalk |

Good post, looks like a great place to spend the day. And some shine for Mido, a nice brand with some very good models.

I used to live up there. I don’t remember the Panerai and IWC boutiques. They must be relatively new. I definitely remember the Omega and Tag Heuer boutiques.

I’m assuming the ‘57 bracelet is similar to their Apollo 50th, and while very comfy/nice looking, its not as buttery as the jubilee. Tbh, if I could get a microadjust on the 007, that new GS bracelet is better to wear than the A50 as well…but it doesn’t have one.
Glad you had fun - love that iwc, but my wrist is too small for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

KOP is a great mall. My Corp. HQ was a few miles away, so I checked out the stores a couple of years ago. Thanks for the posts!

I was at a conference in King of Prussia in 2018 and that mall was amazing. I spent a couple hours doing the watch tour like you did. The conference is back and in person again this November and I am going…not for the conference itself, but because I have an excuse to go to the mall and watch explore! (I live in a watch desert where all you can get are citizen, movado, bulova at every chain jewelry story). I highly recommend anyone in the area stop there. An aside, watchbox/govberg corporate headquarters and store are just a short drive away from King or Prussia as well. I haven’t ventured there yet but may!

The Panerai and IWC are part of the Tourneau/Bucherer store now.

I'd go '57 all the way. Blue or Green for me. But is you are into sandwich dials the black is fantastic too. |

I don't believe it's too big. The lug-to-lug is pretty compact, the ceramic case and titanium deployant keep the weight down, all black casr makes the watch wear visually smaller, and Omega includes the crown guards in their stated diameter so in reality its more of a 42mm watch.
