Oysterflex fit query
I'm going to buy a Yachtmaster ref 126655 with the Oysterflex. It's currently fitted with size D on the 6 o'clock side and E on the 12 side.
The D side is fine as it has the clasp perfectly centered on my wrist. On the E side its adjusted so that there's only 1 notch left. My question is should I change the E to a F so that there is more room for adjustment? Also at the moment the gold connector link is showing which I'm not sure is a good look. You're more concerned about the look of the extension link peeking out a bit and not worried about the protective film. Comedy.

As for the fitment, it looks tight on the wrist to my liking... Usually people dont worry too much about the small connector link showing, the question is do you prefer to wear your watch tight or loose? But down to 1 notch of extra release does make one of the 2 OF bands a bit short for you |

So if you go F, you will be adding a links worth of length...thus pushing the connector into the clasp. That should hide the connector and give you room to grow larger.....how big is your wrist?

I would go one size up at 12 oclock so you can at least use the extension when needed instead of having it extended every day.

I have a small wrist. When I purchased my RG Yacht the AD had a smaller strap brought in from Rolex Toronto. I never could get comfortable with the oyster flex fit.

My wrist size is 16.5cm
I reckon I'm going to swap out the E to an F. It'll give me a lot more wriggle room should I need it and it will hide the link. Luckily my AD has an F in stock and will just swap it over one for one at no cost. Sent from my SM-F936B using Tapatalk |

Yes, so my 6.5 inch wrists it was the same for the glidelock placement. my AD wanted me to get away with EE but that put the clasp in the wrong spot.
Changing to DF put my adjustment and one in from the most inner setting meaning I had enormous outward adjustment. |
