SUB Non Date COSC
Hi All
Saw one of these in the flesh for the first time today & the dial really wowed me. Don't know why, but it really called me. Have googled the 14060M COSC & have generally found that the sub non date with COSC is quite rare. Anyone shed any light..? Thanks in advance

They are in every AD I go into so I don't know about the rare thing. Lets also not forget that Rolex is still producing the heck out of them. So much of this rare stuff is Internet based BS.

The question is when will Rolex stop production.
Some say that next year's Basel will showcase the new Subdate SS and ND. If that's the case you will not be able get the ND Cosc for love nor money. Others say that the ND Cosc will be made for years and years ahead. Me, I just like the watch.

The 5512 no date COCS is the rarer item. Made from the '60s into the '70s. 14060 replaced the non COCS 5513 in '89 to '90.

Whether they are in every AD there is or not, this could be one of the shortest run references ever.
We always have to remember every collectable was in an AD's window while they were being made. I sold this one in one of my stupid moves. This is the last of a breed. |

Man, don't you start!
That's what my wife said to me. She said we've had a tough year & you only live once, so I should treat myself. I'm watching the pennies at the moment though.

I've had mine about 3 weeks now and as far as I'm concerned, it's the only watch you ever need. I sold all my others to buy this and I don't regret it at all. Highly recommended.

Got mine a couple months ago. Love it. Wear it all the time except when doing contruction, working on my cars and fishing(had a Swiss Army fly off my wrist while tuna fishing in the Atlantic).Have an inexpensive Bulova for those times. Signature link below this text is a photo of mine. |

This is a watch for anyone that feels modern production waches are collectible. The COSC non date Sub is a worthy great addition to any Rolex collection. |

I just ordered one, it should arrive in a few days.
It was a nostalgic purchase as I personally think, the 14060 may not have much more life in it. But that's just speculation. I wanted the COSC version because the non-COSC looks a bit bare to me. I know 90% of population will disagree, but hey, it's my $. :-) I also have a GMTIIC, but I personally prefer the smaller, thinner cases - the GMTIIC wears a bit large and heavy and as far as I can tell, it's just more metal, the larger case doesn't serve a functional purpose. Anyway, really looking forward to it, and it'll be my daily wearer moving forward. |

Great watch...If I had the cash it would be GMT Pepsi, Sub 14060 and then SD.
Classic dial...watch these fly and vanish to collectors when the cermaic sub arrives. J |

Personally i woulden't change a thing with this model. It's a timeless beauty that needs no change in my humble opinion.
