How long does Tourneau return watch from their service center?

I sent my rolex to Rolex boutique Tourneau in Chicago for a repair. They told me last Tuesday that the watch is sent out from their long island city facility for return. It's Monday now and it's still not here. The sales in store told me that they don't have a tracking number and asked me to wait for their phone call. Getting a little worried about my watch now, does tourneau have history about losing watches in transit? What happens if they actually lose it?

Tourneau isn't high on the list of customer service satisfaction.

Generally, Tourneau does their own servicing unless you specifically tell them to use a Rolex RSC. Nobody really knows a timeline except the shop that you are dealing with, but they should have given you some sort of identification for your transaction.

I'm guessing it went to RSC, simply because it was the boutique, and I know that RSC's repair facility is located in LIC. I suppose Tourneau could have its own there, too...

I wouldn't worry yet. I would call Tourneau/Bucherer customer service to speak with them about your watch as opposed to a sales team in their stores (most of which suck).

When you get your package delivered, videotape yourself opening it just in case theres any issues at that point. It sounds paranoid but I've heard of issues happening just like that...

Why would you use their service center and not a RSC?

If you read the OP’s previous thread, this is just a clasp repair/replace. And perhaps when bringing to the boutique it didn’t occur to him that it might go anywhere but RSC. Just guesses.
