Icon2 Straight Endlinks

Would you go for a watch with straight endlinks if Rolex brought them back?

I personally don’t mind them and think the first Tudor Ranger reissue looked great!

But I think the rest of the forum is going to disagree

Agreed on both counts. I just wonder how large the 'No' landslide will be.

It would work but the watch would have to be vintage in style.

I think the current Explorer and OP 36 line could work.

I would love it if they recreated that OP with the roman numerals with a slightly modern twist as the straight end links work, maybe 39mm.

It’s a no from me.

I would leave the straight end links for aftermarket straps and NATOs straps.

The California dial? Yeah, be good to see those come back. I like the rather ironic typo error there talking about the "ERROR-PROOF RADUIM DIAL"

Good pick up, do you know who did the Californian dial first I assume it would either be Panerai or Rolex?

I think it would be great on the Explorer or god forbid, the Submariner

I would normally say yes but I have a connection to the Cali dial.

I think it is an absolute beauty. It could even give Panerai a third wind.

I think the Sub could work, too, Brian. There are some pics around of older models, like this 5513 on straights, giving it that "tool-watch" look

Well it was closer than I thought, anyway. Thanks to all who voted! For now, and the foreseeable future, straight endlink fans just have to make do with the MKI Tudor Heritage Ranger, I guess.

I'm a hard no on this one, I think it looks weak and unfinished.

For straps, yes. For bracelets, no.

How about in addition to...

The more bracelet and strap choices the better imho.

Maybe for leather or rubber strap options. No for bracelet.
