When I lived there, many moons ago, it was 3.2 on Sundays. Has that changed?

Ohio back in the 70's had two classifications for beer 3.2% and 6%. in 1970 when I turned 18 I could only buy 3.2% I had to wait till I was 21 before I could drink 6% . I don't know when they got rid of the distinction after I was 21 I didn't care.

That's was the reason I said the red cap. 3.2% beer had a red cap and the stamp on your hand was usually different too.

What Ohioans do for fun cannot be mentioned here... It is one of "those" things that the forum thinks is evil.

The Georgia county that I grew up in the 60's was TOTALLY dry. No beer or any alcohol sales Monday through Sunday.

You should have seen the business the package stores would get that were just accross the county line in to a wet county.

The local governments have gotten so money hungry now-a-days I can't think of any counties close to Atlanta that are still dry.

When I moved back to Georgia from Louisiana it took me a month to remember to add beer to my Saturday errands list. It's amazing that a person can go to a bar on Sunday and get hammered and attempt to drive home but can't buy a 12 pack to take home and enjoy with the football. Liquor store lobby has managed to keep Sunday package sales from happening as they don't want to open to compete with the convenience and grocery stores. Ole Sonny the governor doesn't want it either....maybe someday.....
