2023 -60 years of Daytona

With the Daytona turning 60 next year, what would be your dream Daytona release?

For me, full titanium on bracelet, green/white panda dial.

I think it’s perfect as it is, maybe a titanium model like you said. But I still think the current iteration is hard to top.

Lets just leave this one alone. The size works for what it is. Maybe a true panda dial in SS would be nice.

I’d like titanium for sure but more important would be a return of a true panda dial to the non PM line. Also I would prefer a new movement with the subdials at 9-3 but that’s not happening. Make it fully brushed too. Rolex are already flashy I don’t need more.

Maybe we get a special dial for the SS variants, but honestly do not see it happening. I do not think any changes will be made.

The best news would be if for the entire 1.2million rolexes made next year, 50% of it is making Daytona. The other half on GMTs and subs

I know I'm going to get torched for this, but Rolex should follow patek & discontinue the steel model in favor of white gold hybrid. Perhaps making the center links & case in white gold with ceramic bezel & offering it for $27000 USD ?
The market has shown people are willing to spend this price on a steel Daytona.

A friend of mine was at his AD today, looking for a ladies DJ … the AD told him that it will be tough, because Rolex is cutting back production on DateJusts 50% next year …

the dream for increased production on Daytonas begins !!!!

I’m in the true panda dial and brushed center links team! But a TT Everose version would also be beautiful.

Why?
If anything slightly smaller. 39mm from the current 40.
I bet you want a date too.

The big dream is to get one at MSRP!

I would love to have a SS version with the steel dial that comes on the OF 116519 Daytona. I really like the look of that dial!

That might be a good move for Rolex but it will probably be closer to to $40k if it’s all white gold.

Only the center links & case in White gold. The outer links in steel & bezel in ceramic. This should cut the amount of gold enough to reduce the price to the high twenty thousand dollar range.

I'm not a fan of green watches, but I quite like this.

I like the simple baton hour markers as well.
