Incoming GMT II 16710...going back to a Rolex

After owning two of these in the past I have finally been able to acquire one again. Hopefully this will stick. I have to wait for a couple of weeks to actually get it, but here's a picture my friend took for me. I can't wait to get it, but I guess patience is key here.

The photo is kind of lousy, apologies. I'm happy to be back with this watch which kind of started me into watches in the first place. Just wanted to share. I'm quite excited at having this again.

Good on you, it's a great reference. Enjoy and make sure to post pics when it's on your wrist.

Thanks...it's a '97 model. Is that considered an early model, or early compared to the IIc?

Best regards...

GMTII were produced from 1989 to 2007. The first ones up to 1997 had the Tritium T<25 dial as yours does

Oh, yeah. Thanks for the clarification. I was aware that after '97 Superluminova was employed. But thanks for the link, one never stops learning!
