15510st Dial Color

If given the option what are people liking out of the four choices? Blue, green, white or black?

Everyone will have a different answer I think. They all look good however I prefer blue dials and with AP they make far fewer blue dials than the other colours although I’m not sure about green as that’s new.

Just curious why the obsession with blue dials? And this isn’t even just an AP thing, Rolex, Patek, pretty much all other brands included. Sure they’re nice but all hype aside I find white and black dials just as nice. If they were all valued equally, I’d have a hard time choosing colors.

+1

I wonder what will the 2050 collectors say about the then vintage market: wtf, why there were only blue dials produced, was there a GOV regulation or something?

If you want a color, the blue is much more vibrant than the green in normal/low light settings. My green looks black half the time.

value aside, the color of a watch is 100% subjective. pick what you like :)

AP has one of the most remarkable blue dials. The new bleu nuit nuage 50 paired with the grande tapisserie is just a stunning combination that plays with light so effortlessly.

I found green to be nice but very dark in most settings. I'm a big fan of the green and rose gold ROC though.

After seeing them in person, I turned down the black, white, and ruthenium dials for a shot at a blue dial at end of year or sometime next year. Blue all the way!!!

I own blue and ruthenium. Get lots of compliments on the ruthenium!

The blue one I only gor a few weeks ago, so can't say how people react to that.

As has been mentioned above the blue dial now has a fancy name and is standardised across the Royal Oak range. If I’m lucky enough to be allocated a second 15510 then I’d like the ruthenium dial.

+2. RO black dial is completely overlooked and under rated.
