What is the difference?

As I’ve mentioned before, I am new to Rolex. I recently purchased my preowned DJ about 4 months ago from a dealer on eBay. One thing I’ve noticed is my watch says “Swiss” underneath the 6, but on most Rolexes, I’ve seen it say “Swiss Made” with the Rolex crown.

What is the difference? Is it a bad thing that mine says “Swiss” without the crown logo? I have no idea when it’s from so I’m not sure if it means it’s older.

Thanks guys for your help. Sorry for the poor image.

Swiss Only dials are transitional between Tritium lume and Luminova. Watch dates to 1999-2000. I have two Swiss Only watches.

No, it's not a bad thing at all.
Your watch is not a "Swiss" only dial, it is a "T Swiss T" dial. This refers to the tritium used as lume and was a marking on DJ's from the 60s (post radium which did not have the T marking)

Your watch is likely later than the 60's, but much earlier than the 90's change to Luminova. Your serial would help in narrowing down it's age, but I would guess 70's/80's

Oh wow. Didn't realize it was that old. It looks brand new in person. Good to know. Thanks.

It might just be the angle of the photo, but it doesn't look like the crown is tightened down all the way....maybe just check to confirm its screwed all the way in.

Interesting. It just looks so new to me.

But when he was selling it, it came with a custom bracelet (like an oyster band), but it really bothered me that it wasn't a Rolex band, so he sold me a jubilee band that is authentic Rolex. I only paid $600 so I thought it was worth it. Idc that it's a "Frankenwatch", as long as it's full Rolex.

Rolex puts the crown logo there on the watches with the newest movements. This just started a few years back.

This really only applies to sports models like Subs, GMTs, etc. Datejusts and other models went through different dial text changes. I agree with Larry on the date range - late 70s to 80s.
