New to me BY 1803 Day Date.

With the Australian Secondary market taking a Big hit the past few months, we have had some great pieces pop up for sale.

I just picked up a beautiful 1973 (Birth Year) 1803 Day Date to join my 1973 Sigma Dial Datejust.

I look forward to receiving the watch early next week and putting it on the wrist:)

You purchase it without a bracelet?
How much was it because I’m thinking a bracelet included may not have been much more money?
If you buy a bracelet after the fact it will certainly be at minimum 3k USD.

I bought it without Bracelet. Bracelet is quite a bit more, I picked this up at about $6.7k USD. I know the bracelets are expensive, I don't really like the full YG Case/Bracelet anyway, so worked out great.

Still not bad at 6.7k USD in todays market.
Your decision but you may consider getting the custom solid 18k end links that they sell since it makes a nice complete look for the gap between the case and band.

Congrats…

good deal. The 1803 seems to be overlooked - must be the full gold look - people don't like it as much?

Yeh I agree, they are amazing pieces with some great dials. The full gold isn't my favorite for sure. I hope they keep dropping, would love to add a few variants to the collection.

Very nice. I love that pristine no-lume pie-pan dial.

Congrats OP! I think you did good, in this market, $6.7K isnt bad for just a watch head in pristine condition. The days of $5K watch heads are long gone. You have a very thick, most likely either unpolished or a very lightly polished case with a beautiful dial and set of no lume hands. This is ok even though the dial says T SWISS T. The dials were printed in mass and were both used on lume and non lume models.
Please follow my link here (Also works for 4-digit) and make sure the seller is including one or the other solid gold spring bars so that your beautiful case isnt damaged in the future if you tend to wear the watch often. Sellers tend to cheap out here and put some cheap gold plated spring bars in a cheap leather strap which will still cause damage.
