Icon20 Some thoughts and photos

Hello my friends, im collecting watches from 2012, passing from so many different brands (tag, alpina, edox, ball, victorinox, etc) ….. but 4 years ago start moving to rolex…… now i feel i have the rolex that i want and feeling super happy ……. But few months ago i move to buy more affordable watches and i feel so damn good….. i like a lot to have those watches , enjoying wearing all of them and the rolex not rotation at all …. (Also a safety factor makes me start wearing more affordable watches)

Has anyone been through the same situation?

I will share some photos (rolex and non rolex watches)

The Tiffany OP is the one you really desire? You have some great ones there. Looks like you could really use a Snoopy though.

I agree and think a lot of the hype has worn off. Better to simplify.

Do you find both GMTs redundant? Which do you prefer and what bracelet?

Great story! I want to add back the 124060, but I feel it is to close to my blrn. So thinking of trading my blnr in for a blro at my ad. Tough decision.

To be honest I really don't understand why you who have such a great collection of Rolex watches can wear a Seiko or Tissot watch on your wrist. I personally don't find Seiko or Tissot watches beautiful or elegant. I would rather walk around with a single Rolex for the rest of my life than wear a Seiko or a Tissot. That's how I see it. As long as you feel comfortable, everything is ok!

Great collection you have.

I always think I'd like to have a bunch of cheaper watches hanging around just cause I love watches so much...but it doesn't work for me. They just sit, I never wear them. My level is Rolex, Omega and Grand Seiko and I don't go any lower than that, honestly. I would feel weird wearing a Tissot and leaving my other watches at home. I'd much rather wear them.

You do you.

For me, ever watch I buy has to survive the following scrutiny - would I ever wear that over the watches I already have?

For example, I love green so I was itching for an OP41 green dial, but it didn’t survive “when would I wear it instead of my 126610LV?”

For me watches are no more that that so you like all of them (in my case) i dont feal bad for using a $200 seagull instead of my pepsi … i like both and of curse they are in different levels ….. but I enjoy wearing a cheap watch
