Someone put this on a post a few days ago before Thorpe - they reckoned they’d been told 4% on Rolex and 9-10% on Tudor I think.

I feel for the folks across the pond. Seems like they always have price increases and even less availability than other places. That's just my impression.

That's a relief. I was worried prices were increasing 4% in January.

Apparently, US ADS got notice today of the 4 percent price increase January 1. Check with your ADs to confirm.

Interesting to see what Bucherer would do with CPO now, probably not much for now but would expect them to do the same once CPO is fully rolled out…

Who has said 9-10% on Tudor? That's quite a jump. Considering Tudor's status as an entry level luxury brand, a 10% jump could financially alienate a lot of first timers to the brand. I'm thinking Longines and Oris are licking their chops.

PT did a livestream a couple of weeks ago where he mentioned the price rise in passing. I checked here after watching that and no mention here at the time.

Wouldn’t surprise me - Rolex bumped their prices in the U.K. in September 2022 as well by about 4%-7% in the U.K. (and maybe Japan) but Tudor prices didn’t move as far as I know.

Think that was reflecting the overwhelming success of current British politics and the value of GBP. (That’s sarcasm before anyone corrects me.)

Every year this guy predicts this or that like most things on YouTube mostly clickbait and nothing more. One thing is for sure there will be prices rises in the future, when well only Rolex knows that for sure.

Platinum and rhodium prices in general have been all over the place recently. Possibly linked? (A bit like the price of fuel, already extracted, refined and paid for yet the price somehow rises due to a mysterious market…)

I did chuckle watching one of Paul T videos {dont generally 'watch' them} where he was discussing fake watches. The irony, perhaps his son Jamie would have best placed to present that video.

Rolex operates corporately in swiss francs. The pound is down heavily against it and other major currencies. A price increase was inevitable.

In other countries the price increases are more inflation related since costs of goods and services have surely increased for Rolex and most currencies are off between 5-10% since the inflation gripped the economies. The increase isn’t much (including in the US) all things considered.
