Daytona weight SS vs WG
Can someone post the weight of these two Rolex Daytona watches.
I am curious about the difference as the WG will be heavier than SS, but the Oysterflex should be lighter than the Oystersteel, but finding this info is challenging. Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 116500LN, stainless steel, white, Oystersteel 116519LN, white gold, Oysterflex |

I think SS all links is close to 140grams and WG OF is 158 grams.

OF 18k is still pretty heavy, should be heavier than the 116500. Not sure by how much but i can weigh my 116515 a bit later today if you do not get an answer.

I don’t really detect much difference between my PM and steel watt he’s. The gold is heavier but wearing it doesn’t really feel that different.
I wouldn’t not get a gold watch because of the weight difference being a factor. It’s like trying to lose weight by getting a haircut, if that helps. |

I can attest the full WG Daytona is WAY heavier than SS. My WG Daytona feels heavier than my SD Deepsea. My YM 42 on OF has some good heft since the watch case and clasp are all still WG. Not as heavy as the Daytona though obviously.

Not an exact comparison but I had a 36MM Daydate with an oyster bracelet...comparing that with the YM 40 in SS/Plat its a HUGE and very noticeable difference.
