Will Rolex ever bring back the Hidden Sealed Clasps to the Jubilee Datejust?
Or they will keep it exclusive for President bracelet?
They just remove the best thing in Jubilee bracelet of 6 digit Datejust which I think is THE Hidden Sealed clasps. It complete the beautiful of the Datejust Jubilee bracelet (Especially 2 tones) I know the new bracelet you have micro adjustment, but aesthetic is the most important for a watch to me. And it is a downgrade not a upgrade Jubilee Hidden Claps With Micro adjust someday ? Can it bee? |

Yes, I agree, not sure why they did that, unless it was for technical reasons with the micro adjustment.

I like the superjubilee bracelet but I actually prefer the clasp on the jubilee. Makes it look less formal to me. Also i’m very particular with the bracelet fit so i need micro adjustment. I needed to buy the 1.5 link for my DD just so i can get the proper fit i like.

For me, it depends on the watch. On a DJ I'd only want the hidden clasp. On a sports model like the GMT, I like the clasp.

I have the hidden clasp model and I love everything about it! Looks much more dressy IMO.

I will not buy any Rolex model with the hidden "Crown Clasp!" It was never an improvement in my experience. As much as I would like to own a Day-Date, it's not going to happen with that clasp.

DJ I prefer super jubilee. It looks so much better and the bracelet just flows with the hidden clasp.
Now on the GMTs, I prefer jubilee with clasp. I guess it looks more "tool like." |

Super Jubilee is a great looking bracelet! I've always loved them. I didn't know they were discontinued. :(

On my DJ, I love the hidden clasp jubilee. I think it gives that watch a more refined, upscale look. Do not like jubilee, regardless of clasp, on sport watches. I dislike the 5 link segmentation going into the 3 segment clasp. I like how the hidden clasp jubilee maintains a consistent appearance all the way around the bracelet. Also helps to minimize the fine scratches and abrasions incurred while wearing the watch versus the sport clasp.

The hidden clasp looks ultra cool, but there’s no on the fly adjustment.
If they could sort that out on the DJ and the DD, I might be a buyer |

It's to differentiate the ladies series. DJ 28 and DJ31 still have the hidden clasp. DJ36 is "unisex" (but actually the new popular ladies size.)

Will Rolex ever bring back the Hidden Sealed Clasps to the Jubilee Datejust?

Well they may eventually bring it back who knows …… in the meantime you can always look for a 63200 / 63600 Quote:

I love the hidden clasp. I have no use for any “on the fly adjustment”.

No brainer for me. "Hidden" all the way. (Besides: who would like to have a recent president bracelet with a clasp??)

Agree with the majority of comments that the hidden claps looks best, however having the adjustability makes an uglier clasp worth it to me

Rolex is lazy. That's what happens when a company is comfortable and knows it has loyal customers who would buy it's product whatever it gives them. Look at other watch companies who are much less than Rolex in the market having beautiful clasps but still with the ability to adjust.

I hope they do. Looks far better than the fliplock casp on jubilee.

Another thing to consider: I have a feeling that the hidden clasp never worked right (visually speaking) on larger watches, hence the DJII never came with a Jubilee. It wasn't until the switch to DJ41 and the new clasps that the larger version got this option.

I loved the hidden clasp on my DJ36 but sold it as 36 was too small. Was disappointed the changed the clasp on the 41. It is a Scratch magnet now.
