New heavy BLRO: That blue dial!!!

Hey all,

I requested a 126719BLRO with meteorite dial at my favorite AD a while ago. The manager there said that she is still working on that one but offered me the blue dial version instead last week. I couldn't resist and absolutely love it.
That midnight blue dial is really incredible and looks different every time I glance at it. It plays with the light so elegantly. Highly recommended. Since we love to talk about weight of precious metal watches, the BLRO is about 12 grams lighter than my WG Submariner, all links included. See pictures below, including current state of the addiction. I guess you could say I like blue.

Have a good rest of the week!

Congrats! That's a killer collection. The weight of the WG Sub is so good. I assume extra weight due to the thicker caseback compared to GMT.

Thanks! Took some time to get there... I think you are right about the thicker caseback on the Submariner. Also, the clasp is significantly larger.

I get that. I've had my 126619LB less than a week. Totally in love.
Good point about the clasp. Hadn't thought of that.

Very nice! Does Rolex allow changing the dials to a meteorite? Just curious.

Great collection from another Dallas-ite.

Saying that pictures don't do a dial justice is a watch forum trope but it's so true of that blue. I was giddy when I saw it for the first time.

Great collection. Do your ss sub and Batman and your tt sub get any wrist time. Why would you ever put on those watches when you have a ‘better’ version of the same watch in your watchbox?

It’s funny, I look at this collection and the only ones I would want is the BLNR, SS ceramic Daytona, white gold and SS sub. Maybe the bluesy. Everyone’s taste are different, probably why he has them all.

5 out of 8…………. I’d say you have similar tastes.
