Add ND sub or trade for Pepsi
Current collection is a TT CHNR Rootbeer GMT, 41mm Cermit Green Sub, and a Black GMT.
Have the budget to either 1. ADD a 124060 41mm No Date Sub to the current collection. OR 2. Trade the black GMT + cash for a Pepsi Jubilee. Which direction to go in? PS - rootbeer and cermit are staying in collection. |

I am going against the grain here. I would trade in the black GMT for the 124060. Rootbeer + 12LV + 124060 is a great collection. If it were my collection, I would not want the root beer, Pepsi and SubLV as I would want one watch with a little less color.

Option #1 with the 124060….too much color in the collection would tire me out and ironically, bore me.

I personally wouldn’t want an LV, a submariner and a black gmt. I would trade the black gmt for a Pepsi or Batman or get the no date sub and trade the LV and black gmt for a VTNR

I think you miss a Daytona or a chrono in general.
Basically you already have: - a under the radar daily watch (116710ln) - a GMT - a diver (not so much evident, it is a cermit) I would not change the black get since it is first rolex with maxi case and ceramic bezel, first with green get hand and green writing on the dial. |

I will offer a different suggestion. Check out the 124060 next to your kermit C.
The 124060 will feel empty without the cyclops - it's not that I use the date function but it really brings out character in the watch. so based on that I would add the Pepsi and let go of the gmt and sub ND |

Get the Pepsi
Once I got my LV I sold my LN. I have no desire to wear a modern LN with the LV in my collection. Exception for true vintage LNs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would get the 124060 (best in the collection for me) and either get rid of the LV and/or LN (these 2 are great but prefer the 124060 and there are crossovers - sub for LV and black bezel for LN) for the BLRO.

For me, the black GMT looks too similar to a Sub. Amongst your options, I’d trade for the BLRO.. then you’d be missing the black bezel watch so then add a sub later

I think the Pepsi is the best Rolex sports watch, so hard for me to recommend against getting one whenever someone has a chance to do so.
Possible concern about the classic/collectible nature of the LN due to it being the first of a lot of different things. But OTOH there are a ton out there and it was a watch in production over 10 years, so not exactly rare and that probably puts a ceiling on its collectible nature. And I dare say even with all that the LN will never be more "classic" than the Pepsi. So I think trading it for the Pepsi is fine and would be a good move. As far as too much color, I think that's only a concern for watch collector types like us. There are people that have worn a Bluesy or Pepsi or similar as their only watch for decades, and not having a black bezel watch is certainly not a concern for them. Put another way, you will have a RB, Cermit, and Pepsi. Any of those 3 would be a dream only Rolex for lots of people. So I think having all 3 would be fine. |

If your set on one of the two choices I’d go Pepsi.
Otherwise I’d get a Daytona. |

If you have a good AD relationship, I'd attempt the following:
126610LV + 116710LN for 126710BLRO and 124060. At what seem to be current market prices, AD comes out anywhere between $5-10,000 ahead after unloading assuming these are full sets. Also, all of this assumes OP was referring to a 116710LN and NOT a 16710LN; it the latter, KEEP IT. |

BLRO is the must have Rolex model; trade the GMT LN and cash for BLRO. My favorite watch of all time.

Between the sub and the pepsi, I like the pepsi way more. And between the LN and the BLRO, I like the BLRO way more. That will leave you with CHNR, LV, and BLRO. I'm not a TT guy so the CHNR doesnt do much for me. I'd rather have something else... maybe a daytona.

I've got the 124060 and to me its the perfect watch but the pepsi is next on my list imo two very different pieces and compliment each other
