Mans 1973 rolex submariner wristwatch model 5513

Watch is genuine but it is being misrepresented. The dial is a replacement dial not a 1973 dial at all. Seller maintains that the watch is 100% original, this is NOT true. white gold borders did not exist in the 70's.

seller pg123 ( 6134)

This listing is for a fine estate watch. It is a Rolex Submariner model number 5513 from 1973. It is caliber 1520. The watch is in immaculate condition and is a perfect runner. I have had it for about a week and it keeps perfect time.

The watch measures about 43 mm from lug to lug and measures across not including the winding stem 1.5 in or about 38 mm. The Rolex band is original. The watch is shown in its present configuration will fit a wrist that is 8 inches in circumference. The band of course is adjustable.

As mentioned above the watch is in immaculate condition. There is no scratches to the dial and you are buying an original 100% guaranteed Rolex watch with its original Rolex band. Please note I will not end this auction early to anyone.

Good catch. The dial is from the 1980's, but original Rolex. The auction listing is overly hyped and deceptive to someone that wouldn't know - as the dial is aged and looks like it could be original to the watch.

It should have listed the watch as having a replacement dial, but I doubt the seller knows the difference.
