Concerns regarding the 3 dots on crown

Hi everyone,

I am quite new to the forum! Just had a quick question for anyone that would like to chime in....

I picked up BLRO Meteorite from the AD recently... however based on the readings I have done online.. the crown should have a bigger middle dot. (I.e. Small big small dot for white gold, 3 small dots for steel/gold, and big small big dot for platinum)

Is that a glitch/error on rolexes part? Is this a common occurrence?

Here are the pics

Thank you in advance!

Pics not legible. My dots are the same sized. Is that what you’re asking?

Yes! I thought PMs have the pattern small, big small for the dots on the crown,

vs steel/gold models have 3 small dots vs platinum models have big small big dots..

Is your BLRO meteorite also 3 small dots?

Your photo looks like the crown is incorrect with "small small small" dots, which signifies stainless steel.

Based on the pix I have seen I think the dots should be s-L-s.

My Pepsi Meteorite has the middle dot bigger than the other two dots. This indicates PM. Does your watch have the proper hallmarks on the back of the case?

It seems like all the hallmarks match what I see online

BLRO meteorite from ‘the AD’, out the door full stickers?

You have a very special relationship with this AD.

They should be happy to answer any queries you have.

I found if I hold my finger on the small images OP posted and ‘open in new tab’ (on iPhone, or right click on it etc) then you can see the original full size image.

Thanks. Posting these to help.

Personal opinion is the watch is fake. Take to the AD and let us know.

I was able to click on the photo and zoom. They are definitely 3 of the same sized dots on the crown. If this watch is indeed white gold, it should be small - large - small.

I have to say...the bracelet screws in that first photo are mighty suspect. Looks like the slot was made with a hacksaw.

OP, what does the watch weigh?

You could drive a truck through this slot.

And the screw head doesn't fit the hole very well.
