I'm planning a trip to Monte Carlo because I've been infatuated with the place since I was 10-years-old. Decided to treat myself.

I was wondering if anyone has stayed at the Hotel de Paris??? I was quoted around $1,500 USD for a 3 night stay (excluding extras) and wanted to know if it's worth the experience and prestige? Or are there other hotels in Monte Carlo that are just a good?
