Mk2 126610LV

Have heard from different sources that the LV bezel has been updated. Does anyone has clear images and perhaps a side by side?

Haha yes! I don’t know if it’s a 60th anniversary. Could be! But no communication from Rolex about it so far. So could also be a silent update like they have done on the Pepsi and recently on the CHNR.

Anyway, I love the color of my first gen. 12LV But I’m also very curious to see the new one IRL

That's exactly what Adrian Barker called it and that's all the hypemania needs, a match!

I am waiting to see the first one hit C24, which should be any minute now

They updated the CHNR? Any more detail?

I called a local AD this afternoon. He said they had a Rolex presentation this morning and was told there was indeed a change to the green shade.

What silent update was made to the CHNR?

I have seen 2 CHNR next to each other. One with more orange brown , the other darker brown. Besides that, darker one had AR coating and the other didn’t.

Ugh, no such thing as a Gen 2 color change. He needs to stop the madness for the sake of clicks to his channel. It’s the same hue of green just under different lighting. I photo this watch extensively and I know a lighting color shift when I see one.

Here is the two and even under different lighting and they still match. My pic was taken outside with a bit more blue tone on the lighting. Even good incandescent light will bring out more of a brown hue with the green LVC ceramic as seen on the left pic.

I know right. The conspiracy theories never cease to amaze me.
Everyone knows I used a special filter for my camera directly from Rolex.

I was gonna save this huge Rolex bomb for later but her it is……A pre production 65th anniversary lefty LVC being field tested. This pic will break the internet.

Looks like a MKII green bezel to me.

I spoke to Adrian about this. He didn't say this stuff based on his own observations. He was filming his video in the Rolex booth and was saying to the camera that nothing happened in the Sub line. A very senior Rolex employee interrupted him and told him about the bezel color change. He told Adrian that sometimes Rolex likes to do these little "Easter eggs," as he called it.

I trust Adrian on this. He said he also got the same line from Cole Pennington, formerly of Hodinkee, recently moved to work for Tudor.

It’s hard to tell from a single picture. Color difference would only be clear when side by side. However, it could be. I have two Pepsi’s that have very different shade and color.

Oh yes there is. And very recent versions also AR coating in the glass. Rolex keeps updating them silently.

I asked if I could upgrade my BLRO to the newest glass and the AD watchmaker told me "I see some fuzz on your dial, I got you"

Taking it in this week. We will see.

Nice! I have been considering the same. Hope I can keep the original glas as well.

Yea, THE update was with the 12 series Sub aka Sub41. It got all the updates Rolex could throw at it from AR to new movement, case, bracelet, clasp, etc….
The Sub41 can’t be updated anymore for a long time in Rolex evolution.

Exactly. LV and BLRO side by side the reflections are a hot mess compared to LV.

Brad, I suggest you get a new bezel insert as well. That purple / pink mess needs to go

a quick google search for "126610lv-0001" gave me 6 results...

"126610lv-0002" gives me 31 700 hits ..

Are you sure it was 0001?
