I like the trade. Two very useful watches for one less useful watch. Numbers seem right to me.

I’d do that trade. But I think 98% would too, which makes is smell fishy to me…

I would personally never move backwards from AP to Rolex. Forget about the secondary prices. You're trading a Ferrari for two Toyota's that frankly aren't hard to get or rare if you're a long-term collector. If you lose that AP, be prepared to never get another once the serial is re-registered to transfer warranty.

Hard no. You are getting hosed.

Watches alone, also worse off. If you can get AP you can surely get new SS Daytona. Just add the SS.

Usually would say “do whatever will make you happiest wearing, money aside”.

Since these are all unworn though…are you planning to wear what you receive? If not, I’d keep the AP.

I would personally not do it. AP is far more special.
Value wise, I think it is fair.

You are lucky to have found someone willing to do this trade. Act fast before he changes his mind

I don't know about the $$€€££ side, but I know I'd rather have a blue dial 50th Anniversay RO over a Daytona and BLNR.

I’d make that trade asap as I can’t believe any dealer would give you that much for the AP to make that happen. You are going to have to add money on top of your AP.

The SS Daytona is a lot more special and sought after universally and will always be. Visually the Daytona is a lot more interesting and exciting to my eyes and why I don’t get bored with it.
The watch market is soft now but the AP market is really down and that speaks volumes.

From a financial perspective you’ll be ahead. At the end of the day, if you like and will wear the Rolexes more, then go for it

For me, the RO is more special

It depends if these are your only watches. I wouldn't want the Royal Oak as an only watch myself, having lived with a couple of them. Nothing to do with quality etc, just personal preference.

Royal Oak trade for 2 Rolexes, Fair?

Your RO trades around 52 the Daytona is around 33 and the Pepsi around 19. The numbers add up but I would wholeheartedly not recommend this trade if the AP was allocated to you. Ask me how I know
