Tudor BB54 fit

Ladies and gentlemen,

I asked my AD to bring me one of the BB54 and expect to pick it up in the next few weeks. However, I watched a video about the T clasp showing that it is shorter than one link hence not giving you enough flexibility getting the right fit.

I am honestly concerned now. Getting a good fit was a big part of the decision to try a Tudor again. I had a BB58 in the past and the clasp was somewhat not enough for me coming from Rolex clasps.

Anyone has something to comment or mention about it?

The T-Fit clasp has the same range for adjustment as the T-Fit of the Ranger and that's why I added a half-link from Uncle Straps, which provided the correct space I needed to achieve the optimal range:

I also have one for the BB58's bracelet:

When I get my BB54 I will check, if the problem persis or if I will get lucky because of the different case size, otherwise I hope that the half-link for the BB58 fits. I wouldn't care much about the different tonality of the steel, which is reported as the half-link is positioned at the underside of my wrist.
Btw, Steel Reef offers extension links for Tudor as a different option:

We will surely see a dedicated, 3rd party half-link offered soon, hopefully matching the tone of the steel.

Thanks for the answer.

I find it hard to swallow, the fact that you need a 3rd party solution or to compromise like that. Feels weird

I’ve done this on my 54. Initially it was too tight so I added in a link.

The t-fit gives about 85% of the width of 1 link.
