What is used to test accuracy? And, how often should you be testing?

I have an Avenger and SuperOcean. Both about 3 years old and they run at +1 and +2, measured on a timegrapher. Both have the ETA 2824-2 movement.
A lot of people turn their nose up at ETA movements, but I own Rolex, Omega, and Cartier, and these ETA movements are as accurate or better than these. |
