Caliber 4302 (15500ST) precision/accuracy specs
Thrilled with my new purchase! I know AP is not nearly as accurate as Rolex (32xx aside lol) and I’m not expecting it to be. But I am curious if there is any standard that AP sets and if my watch is performing OK. is it possible that the watch is magnetized?
Thanks in advance and apologies for the multiple questions in the sub for him. It’s my first AP and I am ecstatic

I have two pieces with 4302 and both run fast.
My Code sometimes can be up to 10sec per day. Initially I was bothered, comparing it to Rolex but after a while I stopped. I was told over time it will get better. I plan to buy new strap and when I bring it will ask the watchmaker to check if it’s not magnetized. My RO is better, + 3/4 sec per day. Congrats on the 15500st and going for silver dial. It’s a hidden gem. |

Is that showing +13 seconds per day? LOL - I'm sorry but that is rubbish. A $50 japanese automatic Miyota 9015 will time better than that. In fact I have a 8year old Miyota still running +1s a day. No service at all since new.
I see AP movements havent improved much these days. |

I never really get it - unless something is really broken, leave it and enjoy the watch and the best bracelet in the biz.
If we really wanted an accurate watch, you'd shell out $50 for a Casio that doesn't require a $2k service every 5-10y as well :-) |

Congrats, happy to see you finally bit the bullet! My 15500ST is +2.3 spd on average, considering resting for 10-12 hours per day dial up. After a day of being worn, it’s about +3.5. Sure, it’s no Rolex or Omega and it took me some time to relax. But timegrapher wise, it has the most perfect consistency I have ever seen: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hahaha maybe a bit! But I’m still checking moda often and tracking the market for fun. I haven’t chimed in recently because nothings really been moving!
